According to several moon-sighting reports across North America, as confirmed by ChicagoHilal.com, Saturday August 22 2009 is the first day of Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak to all of you. Inshallah the taraweeh prayers will start at the ICBCS masjid tonight shortly after Isha. Isha tonight is at 9:30 PM.
According to local sighting, tomorrow, Friday Aug. 21, is 29th of Sha’aban. Insha-Allah, we will announce the beginning of Ramadan after 10.00pm tomorrow.
